MLB notes 4-30-08: Clark, Norton, Wilkerson
- The New York Daily News reports that Brady Clark will probably opt for retirement rather than accepting his Triple-A assignment. Clark was designated for assignment by the Mets last Week.
- According to The Seattle Times, the Mariners have DFA’d both Greg Norton and Brad Wilkerson. The move was necessary to make room for Jeff Clement and Wladimir Balentien, who were called up from Triple-A. It will result in an immediate upgrade in both the RF and DH spots, two areas where the Mariners have suffered offensively.
