DeRosa health update
Paul Sullivan of The Chicago Tribune reports that Mark DeRosa of the Chicago Cubs will have surgery on Thursday to take care of the irregular heartbeat that has been affecting him since he was a teenager. It does not appear to be a life threatening situation for the 2B.
By the end of (next) week, hopefully he’ll be going full throttle again,” Cubs Physician Stephen Adams said.
